THE GARDEN GALLERY

"The Garden Gallery" is our new landscaped urban garden and "Outdoor Living Space" at Blackbanks Garden Centre in Raheny Dublin and has just opened to the public.

The garden is inspired by various world styles, including gardens of Scandinavian and New Zealand. 

Work has been progressing on this project over the last year. We created a garden that not only mixes different tastes but also endeavours not to lose the integrity of a garden and become too sterile while still showcasing different gardening concepts.  We tried hard to live up to our name "Colour Green" while designing “The Garden Gallery” and have recycled as many materials as possible including, granite sets, top-soil, plants, bricks, stone and even hardcore that were all salvaged from gardens that no longer wanted these ingredients.

“The Garden Gallery” also features our current favourite styles of patio; Jura Limestone, Pompeii Granite and Diefurt Cream limestone and plants including Ginkgo Biloba, Metrosideros, Acacia, Sophora, and Agaves. All wood used for fencing and decking are BM Trada certified and are from forest’s where the ood is managed as a renewable source.

Like all great projects, this in an on going work in progress and it is planned to have stage one finished by late Spring 2009.
